🌈PSYCHEDELIC ART SESSIONS:
A melodic & ecstatic painting jam!
All the creative spirits in Berlin, unite!
…and get ready to jump into a sparkling painting experience with this magical cozy atmosphere at the heart of Kreuzberg. Together we enter the colorful realms of energetic beats, psychedelic vibes and free-spirited expressionism at our beautiful Atelier Äuglein.
Together we’ll play with colors, lines, shapes and forms to create a lively abstract painting as we are nourished by a well selected melodic & ambient music playlist. You can stand still or dance, swing or move around while painting, it shall be an ecstatic experience and you are free to experiment.
Going by the motto ‘It totally suits you, or freaks you’, this alternative typical Berliner space is the perfect place to awaken your creative spirit.
These sessions are for anyone interested in exploring the mysteries of the human psyche and believing in the power of colors. You don't have to call yourself an artist to join us—bring your exploratory mind and let's discover what we can create together!
What is awaiting you:
Sweet chatter, lively melodies, neon lights, bright colors to inspire your own abstract artwork within a 2,5 hour painting session.

Who can participate:
This event is open to everyone. No prior painting experience is necessary. Just bring your lovely self and willingness to create. If you are a beginner, inspiration, step by step guidance and useful tips will be provided - as much as you need.
GOOD TO KNOW

All painting materials are included in the price, with an apron to protect your clothes.

Still, we recommend not to wear your favorite clothes, just in case you get too ecstatic.

We will paint with acrylic colors on high quality acrylic papers, using some additional creative tools to help you paint as you wish.

A protective transportation cover is also included in the price, so you can take your own painting safely home to be framed and hung right after the workshop.

You will be offered 2 drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and fresh snacks with allergen free options. You can also bring your own drinks!

ABOUT THE PROJECT
"Psychedelic Art Sessions" is one the workshop series designed by project Psyche & the Magic Caves, which came alive in 2024, where we organize art workshops, concept events and festivals dedicated to Psychedelic Art, where we don't do drugs, but still get an art high with neon colors, music and movement.
The word "psychedelic" means "mind manifesting". The idea is to enhance one’s perception of the reality by creating a visual sensation. In the end, an artistic effort to depict the inner world of the psyche is, psychedelic.
When we talk about making psychedelic art, we understand a laid back, free-spirited art making which is free from all concerns about having a 'good outcome'. It is sort of a creative self therapy where people let go of their daily concerns and focus on expressing how they feel at that given moment. The key is to know that it is all about enjoying the process, without thinking about the end result. While doing so, people create unique artworks which reflect their own perception and inner world. When you know there is no judgement, then you can let go.
The Psychedelic Art Sessions will make a fresh start in August 2025. In addition to that, we are working on organizing a number of mini art festivals and themed events, coming up by the winter of 2026.
