MY YOGA PATH
I began practicing yoga in my mid-20s, during a time when I was experiencing intense back pain, joint stiffness, and emotional tension. I was visiting doctor after doctor, searching for answers, knowing deep down that what I was experiencing wasn’t just “normal” back pain.
It took several years to finally be diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) — a chronic rheumatological disease that left me barely able to move.
As my mobility became more limited over the years, I turned to yoga — starting with baby steps. To my astonishment, not only did my mobility return, it began to flourish. What began as a way to manage pain evolved into something far greater: a rediscovery of joy, movement, and self-expression.
Over time, yoga helped me reconnect with my body, reduce my pain, and reclaim a sense of freedom I thought I had lost. I now feel deeply grateful to be on this path — embracing all the ups and downs of life as part of a creative, emotional, and spiritual journey.
Yoga is a healing practice — and it’s here for all of us, no matter our abilities.
After years of committed practice, I felt a calling to share this gift with others. I decided to become a yoga teacher to create inclusive, gentle-yet-strong, expressive spaces — especially for those living with pain, physical limitations, or uncertainty about their bodies. My goal is to help people feel safe, inspired, and free to move in their own unique way.
As of 2025, I am a 200-hour Yoga Alliance–registered teacher, having completed my training at House of Om in Bali.
As an artist and a storyteller, I approach yoga creatively and intuitively, believing that self-expression is a powerful form of healing. My classes are designed to boost imagination, creativity, and embodiment — offering a space where movement becomes art.
Today, I teach yoga to empower others — especially those with limited mobility — to reconnect with their bodies, their creativity, and their inner strength. My classes are gentle but strong, grounded yet expressive, and rooted in the belief that every body is capable of healing and transformation.
Let’s explore the healing power of being in the flow — together.
